The Family Behind Tricky Toddlers

Welcome! I’m Ashley, creator of Tricky Toddlers.

My family and I live in the incredibly beautiful state of Colorado. My amazing husband and I have been married since 2010. We have 3 kids (soon to be 4!) under the age of 6 who make us laugh and wear us out on a daily basis. We love taking road trips and family hikes, marathons of our favorite shows, and chicken wings. I am not functional without coffee, but who is with 4 kids?

About Tricky Toddlers

Toddler-Friendly Bible Resources

Our goal is to help families begin building habits of teaching their children the truths of God’s Word. We have had the most success teaching our children at home when we have access to great material, it becomes a habit and we are surrounded by a supportive community.

Great material for teaching toddlers the Bible at home takes some digging and usually requires a lot of work upfront. Parenting toddlers is hard enough, so we are putting together simple materials that are God-centered and easy to implement into your child’s day. Whether it’s crafts, art projects, snacks, or games, we find ways to engage toddlers’ minds with the stories and ideas of the Bible.

Our lesson plans include a Bible story summary with corresponding activities, simple memory verses,  toddler-friendly prayers, crafts, and beginner academic materials. We strive to connect children’s knowledge and experiences with the truth of God’s Word through all of our resources.

We suggest using our materials along side a children’s Bible. Our lessons are meant to help teach and reinforce truths and ideas from Bible stories.

When you join our email list you will get discounts and promotions for all of our materials available for purchase. You’ll also receive our first lesson plan for free when you sign up!

To help you get into a habit of teaching your children at home, we will be going through our teaching materials together at certain times of the year. The best way to follow along with us is by joining our Email List and following our Facebook Page.

We encourage you to connect with other families and share your experiences as you begin building your child’s foundation in the Bible. For encouragement and support from our community, join our Facebook Page and share with others as you teach your little ones together. Feel free to post pictures, stories, and other encouraging thoughts!

You can also find all of our activities and ideas, along with tons of others we find around the web, on our Pinterest Boards. Follow us on Pinterest HERE>>

We hope you and your family are blessed by everything we do and create. If something on our site doesn’t work or wont download, email us through our Contact Page and we’ll get right on it.

Thanks for stopping by!
